I have a messy mind and my writing is a process of cleaning up the mess, then slowly making a story.
Writing is a way to be in contact with as much reality as possible. To tell stories, for me, is to pay attention to the world. Stories educate our capacity for moral judgment and evoke a common sense of humanity.
